The Perks of Switching to Natural Deodorant

There is a lot of talk on the market recently about the use of natural deodorants vs. your traditional deodorant. Lets start with a basic fact: traditional deodorants that we see mostly in the stores all have a similar ingredient in common: aluminum. Aluminum has been found to have negative implications on our bodies. When using these deodorants, one is putting aluminum not only on their bodies, but close to all of the lymph nodes found in the underarm as well.

Now lets talk a little about natural deodorants. Natural deodorants have only a few ingredients, all of which are all-natural and do not contain any aluminum or parabens, making them more gentle for your body and for your skin. Our deodorants contain coconut oil, baking soda, arrowroot powder, shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, corn starch, zinc oxide, white kaolin clay, french green clay, activated charcoal, and a few select phthalate free fragrance oils.

The question we often get is whether or not our deodorant stops sweat from happening. Long story short, our deodorant does not act as an antiperspirant because it is natural for our bodies to sweat! Our deodorants do tackle the odor of the sweat though. Lifestyle, climate, and stress levels can all affect your sweat level of your body, creating a natural, normal response from your sweat glands. It is ok to sweat! Let us help you to keep fresh!

If you do have sensitive skin, the baking soda in some natural deodorants could leave an uncomfortable feeling on your underarms, but there is baking soda free which is just as affective! Give your underarms some love and switch to an all-natural deodorant!
