How our soaps are made
Cynplicity soaps are created in small batches using traditional cold process, hot process, and carefully rebatched techniques to make the most of every nourishing ingredient. Each bar starts with high-quality plant butters and oils like olive, coconut, sustainable palm, castor, soybean, shea, cocoa, mango, sweet almond, evening primrose, vitamin E, jojoba, grapeseed, sesame, and other skin-loving vegetable fats. These bases are then enriched with thoughtful additions such as therapeutic essential oils, goat milk, yogurt, local honey, sea salt, tea leaves, botanicals, oatmeal, loofah, activated charcoal, Tussah silk, and a few select fragrance oils for a balanced sensory experience.
To create our signature look, natural pigments and colorants like root powders, Brazilian clays, and micas are blended into the soap batter. The result is a bar that feels as good as it looks: clean, natural, and full of character, with each batch having its own subtle variations.
Sea salt bars and facial soaps
Our sea salt bars begin with a base of saponified coconut, soybean, and castor oils for a rich, creamy lather. Once the soap batter reaches the right stage, Mediterranean sea salt and shea butter are gently incorporated so you can enjoy their full benefits on the skin. These bars offer a smooth, moisturizing exfoliation that feels like a dip in the ocean on a warm, sunny day—refreshing, softening, and never scratchy.
For your face, Cynplicity offers a curated line of soaps for normal, dry, oily, combination, and sensitive skin. These facial bars are low-cleansing, French-milled style soaps formulated with mild plant oils, skin-loving additives, and select essential oils to cleanse without stripping your natural moisture, helping your skin feel balanced and comfortable after every washThe slow, careful process
In our cold and hot process recipes, a precise amount of sodium hydroxide is combined with our oils to start saponification. The mixture quickly transforms from liquid to a thick batter, which is poured into molds and left to cure for up to six weeks. During this time, the bars harden, the sodium hydroxide is completely reacted, and the soap becomes a safe, gentle, and long-lasting bar.
Unlike many commercial “soaps” that are actually synthetic detergents stripped of their natural glycerin and heavily loaded with artificial additives, Cynplicity bars retain their naturally occurring glycerin. This helps the soap feel more comforting on the skin and reduces the extra chemical load in your daily routine.

Every Cynplicity bar is fresh, full of naturally occurring glycerin, and made without unnecessary fillers. Because they are cut and finished by hand, the bars often have a rustic, chunky charm and no two will look exactly alike. This uniqueness is part of their beauty and a reminder that a real person crafted your soap from start to finish.
Once cured, each bar is individually hand-wrapped with care and sent from our studio to your home—ready to turn everyday washing into a small, soothing ritual.
